I was given the task to get professional pictures taken of our employees in the Service & Parts Departments, cashiers and shuttle drivers. I called several places. Jeff Schmatt at Rubicon Photo was half the price of everyone else.

All I had to do was give him the ok; He took it from there. He came right to our place of employment and did the shoot. He picked a convenient time and didn't interrupt our business at all. Each person had several pictures to choose from. He then did the complete framing and matting. Everyone is very impressed with the finished project. I got all the praise, but it was Jeff who really made it happen.

It has been TrueNorth’s pleasure to work with Jeff Schmatt on our individual professional photos, and on some other photography projects.

The convenience is great! Jeff sets up a mini-studio in our Cedar Rapids office to take pictures. Jeff now has a digital camera that he can take several frames of each person to allow for selection choice on their behalf.

We then get a digital file on disk for us to provide to our advertising agency, and to use for internal office projects. Jeff was very cooperative scheduling times that worked for the office. In addition, he was very prompt, helping us meet publishing deadlines.

Over the years I have often hired photographers to shoot pictures of employees. Jeff's care that each employee was happy with their individual photos was commented on by each of the 25+ people he worked with at our company. Jeff never rushed one of our employees, on the contrary, he was patient and worked with each person until they were happy with their photo. We even provided Jeff with work that had been done by other photographers to use on one of the projects we hired him for. On his own, Jeff went the extra mile to clean up the work that had done by others in order to ensure the final product would be done to perfection.
